Hayman Capital Co. Ltd was established in 2014 in Myanmar and successfully started its microfinance operations in July 2015. As of today we are represented by an effective network in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwaddy and Mandalay regions. Our branches cover a number of townships, wards and villages through well-organized offices in Insein, Thingangyun, Hlegu, Bago, Nyaunglaypin, Pyay, Pathein, Hinthada, Kyonpyaw, Mandalay, Kyaukse and Meikhtila.
We are operating under permanent license no. 0232/2016 issued by Microfinance Supervisory Committee.
The main focus of our business is providing high quality and innovative financial solutions for micro entrepreneurs and individuals across Myanmar. Hayman Capital Co. Ltd is developing an in-depth understanding of the needs of low income households and using flexible approaches and delivery mechanisms to provide increased financial access to such families.
For the periods 2017-2020, we plan a number of strategies as catalysts to improving both institution and our clients. We seek to enhance our products and services by introducing online platform technologies, expanding into new regions, improving upon our stakeholder reports in line with international standards, offering CSR activities through health care, social training in communities in which we operate and offering financial literacy programmes.

He has 30 years of senior experience in the EU, CIS incl. Uzbekistan. Worked for ABN AMRO group as General Manager and Chairman of the Management Board at ABNAMRO Bank, Uzbekistan; Manager of Corporate Finance at ABN AMRO Bank, Russia as well as Vice President of Corporate Finance, Central and Eastern Europe at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (The Netherlands). Currently, Hugo is Board Director of Advans Microfinance Bank, Pakistan and Arnur Credit, Kazakhstan and Senior Advisor to Ipak Yuli Bank, Uzbekistan. He is also Honorary Consul of The Netherlands and the Kingdom of Belgium in Uzbekistan.
Over 20 years of senior experiences in Oil & Gas and Finance businesses across Central Asia, Europe, Southeast Asia. Shyngys is the Chairman for the Hayman Group since 2014 when he founded the Group. In addition, he was the General Director for 7 years of Kuat Holding, the largest independent oil producer in Kazakhstan in 2009. He has also played a leading role in building and developing key portfolio assets of Berlanga as the Managing Director since 2014. Shyngys holds an Executive MBA from CASS Business School and a BSc in Petroleum Engineering and IT Software Engineering from Kazakh Technical University.
Suga is presently a Senior Investment Officer with Emerging Markets Investment Advisers, a Mekong-focused development fund. She was previously an Investment Analyst at Creador, a Southeast Asian private equity fund. Prior to that, she worked as a petroleum economist with Hibiscus Petroleum, Malaysia’s first listed independent oil and gas exploration and production company. Suga graduated from Yale University with a B.A in Economics and International Studies and is a CFA charterholder.
Chief Executive Officer & Director
He has 25 years of senior experience in Investment Banking and project development, focusing on Natural Resources, Real Estate and the Financial sector within fast growing developing markets, David has been based in Russia for 6 years and Africa for 5 years. Previously David was a Managing Director at Citi Group, Deutsche Bank and Troika Dialogue in Moscow. David also has extensive experience in the Far East gained when he was a Director of Nomura International and Daiwa Europe Ltd. MA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University.
She has 20 years experience as a Director of -Financial Regulatory Department, Nay Pyi Taw – Ministry of Planning and Finance, Manager of Small Loan Enterprise, Deputy Director of Microfinance Department (Nay Pyi Taw Council), Director of Microfinance Department (Head office). She was on study tour to India & Cambodia for Microfinance business. She graduated with B.A (Econ) from University of Yangon.
