Founder
Shyngys is an accomplished entrepreneur, with a proven track record of building thriving businesses in various sectors across several regions, including finance businesses in Southeast Asia. He has more than 20 years of experience managing companies in Central Asia, Southeast Asia and the UK. He established the Hayman Group in 2014. Today, Hayman's MFI business is among the top MFIs in Myanmar. In Indonesia, the group provides SME customers with working capital financing. In Vietnam, the group launched a digital lending business in 2022 and continues its growth to become a significant player in consumer lending and SME financing. Shyngys holds an Executive MBA from the Bayes Business School in London (formerly CASS) and degrees in IT and Petroleum Engineering.
DAVID WALKER
Chief Executive Officer & Director
25 years of senior experience in Investment Banking and project development, focusing on Natural Resources, Real Estate and the Financial sector within fast-growing developing markets. David has been based in Russia for 6 years and Africa for 5 years. Previously David was a Managing Director at Citi Group, Deutsche Bank and Troika Dialogue in Moscow. David also has extensive experience in the Far East gained when he was a Director of Nomura International. MA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University.
BRYAN HLA MYINT
Chief Operating Officer
Over 15 years of experience in operations management. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer, he has a distinguished track record in leading operational excellence. Prior to his current role, Bryan was the Head of Business Operations in Hayman Microfinance. Previously, he held the position of Head of Call Centers at Rent 2 Own, a prominent consumer finance company in Yangon. His career also includes significant roles at Telenor, Ooredoo, Amara Communications, and Blue Ocean, where he earned multiple awards for his outstanding contributions to customer service and operations management. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from East Yangon University.
